Wow, thank you Tamy for a very nice comment on my photos! :) I adjust color and contrast of my photos using color curves tool, but rarely use other retouch effect. I'm using GIMP which is a free software and downloadable from http://www.gimp.org/. Its "Soft Glow" effect (within 'Filter'>'Artistic')is almost only effect I sometimes use on my digital photos (e.g. Mugi the Cat #10 http://mugiswhiskers.blogspot.co.uk/2013/03/mugi-cat-10.html ). xxx
